Markus has been a passionate lawyer since 2004. Before founding the Wolffersdorff Rechtsanwälte partnership, he was a partner in two law firms in Leipzig for many years. He works for companies from various sectors in Germany and abroad in the fields of general civil law, company law and commercial law. He has successfully completed his training as a specialist lawyer for commercial and corporate law. Markus worked for the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce in Mumbai for several months in 2003 and has had close professional and personal ties with India ever since. For many years he has been the honorary head of the Saxon chapter of the “German-Indian Round Table” network, which promotes economic relations between Saxony and India. He was also co-editor of the reference book “Business Guide India” and active in various German-Indian committees and organizations. In addition to the long-standing cooperation with our Indian partner lawyers, Markus works closely with our partners from China, Canada and the Czech Republic. He is a trained business mediator and has experience in international arbitration.

Jyotsna has been a dedicated lawyer in Delhi for over fifteen years, advising foreign and Indian companies in various industries. She has in-depth expertise in market entry in India, establishment and termination of branches and subsidiaries, restructuring, joint ventures, M&A, private equity, intellectual property protection and technical collaborations between Indian and foreign partners. In addition, she has many years of experience as an external company secretary of Indian corporations. Jyotsna advises companies and public institutions on legal and regulatory issues in the field of green hydrogen. She gives legal lectures in India and abroad and has published press articles on various topics of Indian business law.

Kendrick is our lead contact at HDMG Group and internally coordinates the legal and other professionals for foreign clients. He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago and has worked for JP Morgan in China. Kendrick has in-depth expertise in the areas of foreign investment by Chinese companies, market entry in China, trade, government regulation, M&A, due diligence of Chinese companies and IPO preparation and support. Kendrick is involved with Chinese and foreign companies throughout China and Southeast Asia and is fluent in English.
